I've been shooting events since 2005. That's over 20 years of conferences, launches, golf days, press events, and incentive trips, in Cape Town and across South Africa.

Telling a story through pictures

What I actually do at your event is tell a story. Not just document what happened. Anyone who wasn't there should look at the pictures and wish they had been.

I shoot with professional off-camera lighting, which means the venue's existing light doesn't dictate what's possible. The result is images that look intentional, not grabbed in the dark.

Turnaround is 24 to 48 hours as standard**. Same day when we've agreed that upfront.

Stills and video in one booking

A lot of clients hire a photographer and a videographer separately. I do both in a single booking. I use a dedicated camera and gimbal, and a professional wireless mic system for clean audio. The result is a short highlight video* alongside your stills; useful for social media, internal comms, or post-event marketing.

Cape Town Event Photography Pricing

• Stills R4500 minimum
  Covers up to 2 hours on site R2200 per hour after that
• Hybrid stills and video R5500 minimum
  Covers up to 2 hours on site R2700 per hour after that
• Travel at R4.50 per km.
• Images delivered via cloud. Gallery available for one month.

 

Hybrid video includes

• Dedicated camera and gimbal

• Professional wireless mic system (Rode Wireless Go II) for clear audio

• Interviews, vox pops, and highlight clips
